Beth Ezra aims to give each resident a high quality of life by providing Person Centered Care. Individual care plans are discussed and drawn up to accommodate the needs and requirements of each new resident. Relatives are encouraged to contribute to this process. These care plans are regularly updated to reflect any changes.
The Care Team, led by the Home Manager, have ‘end of life’ training and are able to utilize these skills alongside help from St. Christopher’s’ Hospice to enable a resident to remain at the home. This care may also incorporate assistance from District Nurses and the MacMillan Team.
Our staff also have training in dementia care and this training is invaluable when caring for residents who suffer with memory loss and dementia.
An ophthalmic optician, a community dentist and a podiatrist make regular domiciliary visits.
The home has the services of a counsellor, a hairdresser and a masseuse.
Food at Beth Ezra is home cooked, using fresh local produce, with seasonal menus. There is a choice of menu for all meals, fresh fruit available and a popular sweet trolley. Special diets are catered for.
