Beth Ezra is a residential care home managed by Beth-Ezra Trust and aims to give each resident, a high quality of life by providing Person Centered Care. This is supported by staff who are trained to a high standard, as well as providing first rate facilities and activities to all residents in the care of Beth Ezra.

How we secure your information
We are committed to protecting the confidentiality and security of the information that you provide to us. To do this, technical, physical and organisational security measures are put in place to protect against any unauthorized access, disclosure, damage or loss of your information. The collection, transmission and storage of information can never be guaranteed to be completely secure, however, we take steps to ensure that appropriate security safeguards are in place to protect your information.

Managing your preferences and information
We want to ensure that you have the necessary tools at your disposal to control the information that you provide to us, including how we communicate with you. It is also important that you contact us to update your information if it changes or that you know it to be inaccurate. Please see the relevant sections below to learn more about communication with you and how we manage your information.

Managing your communication preferences
Through the provision of the services described above, we may communicate with you in relation to a resident at Beth Ezra and the care and activities provided, to enable us to effectively support and care as well as deliver the services available at the home.

Beth Ezra does not speculatively send out communications or pass you data and information onto third parties. In some instances, where we are required to by law and for the welfare of residents and to allow us to administer care properly and correctly, will we only then share specific information with another party.

Please be aware that you may unsubscribe from communication from Beth Ezra where there is no legitimate reason for us to make contact with you. Circumstances such as communicating about the health and welfare of a resident where we are required to inform you, will continue in the usual way.

Where Beth Ezra Trust has a relevant & appropriate relationship with individual(s) we will continue to make the necessary and legitimate contact with you in relation to your connection with those at Beth Ezra. Where we are required to by law and also for proper and legitimate reasons, we will make contact with services related to the welfare and care of residents of Beth Ezra to ensure the very high standard of care is correctly maintained. These are services such as provided by the medical profession and Council Authorities to ensure and also enable, the correct and proper ongoing care of those for whom we have responsibility.

Should you wish to remove yourself from contact by Beth Ezra and we have no legal requirement to maintain contact with you, please write to Beth Ezra or email admin@bethezra.org and request your removal from further contact.

Managing your information

In the event that any information that you provide to us is inaccurate, changes or you would like this information deleted, please put your request in writing to Beth Ezra or email admin@bethezra.org We will then make the necessary amendments within a reasonable time frame.

Please note that in some instances it may not be possible to delete certain pieces of your information and a portion of the information may be needed for legal and regulatory purposes. In other instances, we may not have the ability to delete certain pieces of information that are stored on other systems such as those used by the related medical service or Local Authority.

Beth Ezra will not hold your data for longer than is legally required and where we have no legal obligation to retain specific pieces of data or information. We will carefully delete and safely dispose of any records within two years of their use no longer being required.

Beth Ezra does not share your information with any other third parties in relation to marketing or similar services. Beth Ezra will only share information where required by law and as stated, in connection with the welfare and health of the residents in the care of the home.

Social Media
We may use various social media features such as the Facebook “Like” button or Twitter “Like” button on our website and mobile applications. Certain information may be shared or otherwise provided to us through your use of these features in conjunction with our services and programmes. Subject to your account and privacy settings, we may also be able to see information that you post when using these social media platforms whether or not you are using one of our services.

This Privacy Statement is issued by Beth Ezra Trust (collectively referred to as “Beth Ezra”, “we”, “us”, or “our” in this Privacy Statement), and is the overall management and administration for the Beth Ezra Care Home.
